Let's all meet up at the Whole Foods Bowery. How does Thursday, March 10th, around 7:30pm sound? Maybe we could throw out Tuesday, March 22nd (same time) as an alternative date?
If we're actually going to make this happen there's a ton of logistics to start thinking about. 1. Securing a space 2. Finding commonalities between all our work (besides the fact that none of it was deemed Recession-worthy), 3. and very importantly: Timing. Do we want to schedule our show for similar dates as Irrational Exuberance? April 30 – May 8, 2011? How much association do we actually want to have with this other show?
I think perhaps a Facebook group might be more dynamic and easier to use than blogspot. Both are necessary actually.
I live in Hawaii but am willing to send work. I am definitely a little suspicious of this rejection. It sounds like they were trying to make a quick buck.
So far I posted the website links of the artist which provided a link. If you want to be added please post a link. Where is the FB link? I would like any suggestions and any info, this is a community blog.
I opened a small gallery "Studio Iˈklektik" with another artist Shannon Lewis in Portland, Oregon. Please join our facebook site Studio-I'klektik http://www.facebook.com/pages/Studio-I%CB%88klektik/205689846124718 850 NE 81st #104 Ave Portland, OR, 97213
